ok i have a classmate who has a Christian band...they're music is on myspace and so my brother and parents dont let me go on myspace...but those kids sing Christian songs and i want to listen to it and whenever one of my family members walk by the hall way i immediately turn off that page...is this right orr not....i dont want to have fear of man....please help me. my mom is saved but my brother and my dad arent

Yes, talk to them. Tell them you wanna hear the music, and ask if they would listen with you, and if there are any iffy lyrics, then they can close the myspace window.

Honor your Father and Mother, ask one of your friends for a tape or CD, but you must respect your parents, and pray for your brother and father.

I'm sure they wont have a problem with you looking at it. Tell you mom that you want to go on myspace to hear it, maybe she will wont to listen to. Thats wrong if someone tries to stop you just because it is christian, but if it's just the fact that its myspace then its a different story.

i have no idea how old you are and personally as long as its Christian music and you arent using that for an excuse to do other things i see nothing wrong with it...God didnt give us the spirit of fear

Lsten to your parents when what they say isn't wrong. It isn't a sin not to listen to any form of music. Turn it off and memorize some poetry or a scripture or two. :o)

lil weasel.... I'm thinking they are afraid that if you go to "my space" for ANY reason you will stay and look around and see and hear things they don't approve of...whether it be Christian or not.

As a parent I can understand that....I went to my daughter-in-law's "my space" because daughter told me of the cute pics of my grandchildren there...Oh my....the remarks of her "friends" were not fit for MY eyes much less any child!

Same thing for many of the children's old friends from our old home town...all adults now and I'm afraid to go to any one elses in future after seeing how free and "easy" everyone is trying to outdo each other with profanity and much much more.... The "mom" in me just can't let that go regardless of the "christian" in me, lol
