Would any Christian debate me, an atheist?

I propose, for the sake of communication and for fun, a religious/scientific debate.

The format / topic can be almost anything you'd like. I figure we could do the debate via matching MySpace pages, YouTube video posts, e-mail, some chat program, or so on.

My only requirement would be that the entire debate be 'fair use' and postable on any website or used in any way.

So, will any Christian informally debate me on any variety of subjects? If you're willing, just e-mail me (jesusdrivesadomestic@yahoo.com) or post your answer here - and we'll go from there.

Hopefully, with as many Christians seem to be vocal on this site, a few of you might be willing to take it to the next level.

Would the debate be over the difference between scripture and the Bible? (That is where many deviations to God's word have occurred).

'Debates' to me presently have a very negative image, in Christianity. I saw an issue 'debated' and it became personal attacks; not focus on the issue.

love to mate. Email back on apostle.prophet@googlemail.com

Good idea but it won't work.Christians cannot debate. When you show the flaws and inconsistencies in their religion they fall back on

"God can do anything"

or something similar

Isn't there enough debate on this site? I'm usually copletely debated out after 10 minutes on here!

christians can't debate. their answer to everything is "god did it."

well god also gave us a brain, but apparently they haven't figured out how to use it.

Bring it on.You name it and i'll answer it.

I would prefer a public message board.

You set it up, I'm game. But this has to have a prescribed end, because I don't think there will be any resolution to come from it.

Would any Christian debate me, an atheist?

Sure, why not. Have to be emails for me. Don't have my compy all tricked out yet. :)

I have contact enabled.

Debate is a clever word for 'argument'. I'm not interested in arguing with someone who is obviously not interested in open-minded discussion.

Would any Christian debate me, an atheist?

Yeah, right. Last time I took one of you up on that, the guy descended to name calling after my first post. Even the bystanders chided him for it!

This question is just an excuse for me to pee in the general direction of the person who asked it.

(Oh and by the way, debating with church people sounds like weird crazy stuff...)

I have listened to many debates surrounding aetheism and religion. An unbiased person can conclude one thing if both people are staying to their side:

If both sides are making their points appear to be valid, in spite of the other side, neither will be able to prove the other as wrong.

Unfortunately, the subject of God has no conclusion that will be seen as right or wrong. Until the Lord makes His presence directly seen by humanity, there is no way to justify anything about His validity, existence, or belief structure.

While I would like to debate with you, and while I would probably enjoy and respect your points and level of inteligence, my time would not allow me to do so. Besides, I don't like/use MySpace, YouTube, or similiar sources.

I can only conclude this: if you are an aetheist, and I am a Christian, then we will only strengthen each other's belief, and open eyes to things not necessarily thought of before.

Unfortunately, since there is no conclusive evidence to valdiate either side, it will still come down to faith in what is unseen (New Testament)

I wish you well in your endeavor
