Do girls like bassists?

I'm wondering if girls like bassists of if its just futile. I'm 17 and I play in a Christian rock band. I'm not like an ordinary bassist because I play a 6 string. I'm one of those "nice guys" (one of those guys who actually cares and isn't a jerk) and I've had a pretty bad past with girls (6 so far have shot me down). I'm just wondering if there's any hope for someone with my talents or if I should just quit. I do have a myspace, it's www.myspace.com/punkbass_20x6 if anyone's interested or whatever. Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

bust on them when they need it- if you get poked or hit on the arm after you bust them you're doing it right...

maintain eye contact when first meeting until THEY look away...

I'm a bass player. Yes, it earns you a few points, although the Christian Rock thing, the 6 string, and the nice guy attitude are probably negating them. Girls go for musicians because they are creative, and sensitive, and a little bit rebellious. Find a rock band, lower the strap down below your nipples, and watch Jimmy Page in Song Remains the Same. You can still be a good Christian and not play Chistian Rock. In fact, it might even make you a better Christian:)
